Stock burgers, a new restaurant on Sutherland Ave. Very similar in it’s name with another burger place that opened before them called Stock and Barrel. The similarity stops there however. To my best knowledge the owner originally started a local chain called “We’re cooking”. It was horrible too. But this review is about Stock Burger.
I can preface my short review by saying I have eaten there 3 times. Yep, 3. I really wanted to like it. Each time I experienced the same thing… Salt.
If you enjoy your burgers topped with what seems to be a salt-lick, your in luck. You’ve got it here. I understand the importance of seasoning your food but they take it to a new level.
The ingredients used seem pretty generic. The burger meat itself seems pretty institutional.
I did like they have a good draft beer selection and a lot of patio seating. Comes in handy on a hot day since their A/C cannot keep up inside and you sweat into your meal adding even more salt! I’m serious.
